Hello everyone!

This is Kenta.

Today, we dived with five guests — it was the final day for our Korean guests, and the first day for our returning guest, Mr. W.

The visibility at Dolphin House was excellent, and we enjoyed a pleasant drift dive.

I was hoping to find some pygmy seahorses, but unfortunately, I couldn’t spot any.

Come to think of it, I saw some at Talisay yesterday. I should go and check before I forget!

At the House Reef, the big school of yellowtail scad (terume-aji) was once again tightly packed together, making for a spectacular sight.

Thank you very much for diving with us!

This morning, the sky was cloudy and the weather seemed a bit iffy, but around noon, it cleared up and was a pleasant day with no wind.
Today, we had 7 guests in total: 5 for fun dives and 2 for introductory dives, for 3 dives!
At Pescador, there were many schools of Anthias and Striped Anthias! Their colors and appearance were beautiful and made for a picturesque scene. Also, as is typical of Pescador, there were many fish, and further offshore, there was another school of Rainbow Runners. Their movement as a single mass is truly impressive.
At Manishuparu, we searched for Mandarinfish. They're small and cute. There were also lots of gobies – it was a goby paradise!
Thank you for the photos, K!

At Visayas Front, the current was good, making it perfect weather for drift diving! When there's a current, you naturally look out towards the open sea, wondering if something big might be appearing.

Hello everyone,

Kenta here ♪

We’re back in Moalboal and enjoyed three relaxed dives today with our repeat guests.

This morning, we did two sandy-bottom dives at Manisupal. When we went to check on the Yellow spot tilefish, their numbers had increased.

There were around 7–8 of them!

Looking really good — and they’re not even that deep either.

We also found a baby blue-spotted stingray, which is pretty rare in Moalboal. It was unbelievably cute.

When we checked the same spot on the second dive, it was still there, so hopefully it stays around for a while.

The baby pajama cardinalfish are also still everywhere, and I’m looking forward to watching them grow.

Tomorrow we’re planning to dive on the north side.

And maybe we’ll end up playing around with some titan triggerfish and yellowmargin triggerfish too!

Good evening!
This is Hide.
I did three dives today!
Dolphin House
Roock
House Reef
It was a beautiful day all day long!
And during our surface interval, we went to White Beach.
The color of the sea, the sand, everything was beautiful; it really felt like summer!
At Dolphin House, about 10 bigfin reef squid were moving near the surface! We only saw them for a moment, but the sight of them moving in a neat line was beautiful!
At Rock, we moved along with a gentle current! The current was slow, making for a relaxing dive!
At the House Reef, we encountered a frogfish! It was a beautiful yellow, small and cute. It seems like there are a lot of small fish around lately.
Thank you for today!

I did three dives today!
Pescador
Manishpal
At Pescador, the visibility seemed to improve dramatically. The underwater world that unfolded after the entry was crystal clear and sparkling even more! And in the deeper areas, a single swallowtail angelfish was gracefully moving; it was quite dynamic even though it was just one.
At Manishpal, I spotted a juvenile cardinalfish! I'd been looking for one for a while, so I was glad to finally find one. It didn't swim away and stayed there, so I was able to watch it for a long time; it was incredibly cute.

I did three dives today!
Pescador
Dolphin House
At Pescador, the current, wind, and visibility were all very pleasant. Underwater, the view from the cave was beautifully clear, truly impressive and a testament to its natural beauty. Also, the schools of Anthias were sparkling even more brilliantly than usual, their brilliance enhanced by the sunlight!
At Dolphin House, there was a school of Pipefish!
They were scattered in groups, but when light was shone on them, they suddenly merged into a single mass and moved – it was beautiful and truly impressive!

At Bogo Paraiso, I continued diving, hoping to see the Spotted Grouper, just like yesterday! I managed to see it for a moment; it really is a cute black and white!
At Tongo Sanctuary, I found a green sea turtle in a cave! The turtle was so cute, nestled perfectly in the cave. Caves and turtles really do go well together.

At Pajama, a cardinalfish stayed with me for a long time without swimming away, so I was able to observe it for quite a while! And there was a huge sea turtle too! It was so big that a person could easily ride on it – I was surprised!
At Visaya Front, the schools of trevally and sardines covered the entire underwater space like a wall, which was incredibly impressive!
At the house reef, I encountered two adorable sea turtles! They swam very slowly, so I was able to see them up close.

At Tongo Bay, there were many crustaceans, especially the Carnation Shrimp! They were brightly colored and beautiful. Also, a sea snake poked its head out of a hole! It was so cute with just a little bit sticking out!

Hello everyone♪

Kenta here.

It’s hooooooooooot!!

Finally feels like real summer in Cebu,

with the blazing sunshine and beautiful weather.

Today, our super repeat guest couple came diving with us again,

and this time their son’s family also came all the way to Moalboal to visit.

We had a fun group of 8 guests diving together today.

I personally dove at Talisay for the first time in quite a while,

and there were huge schools of sardines staying above the healthy coral reefs.

It reminded me of the massive sardine schools that used to gather on the south side of Pescador years ago!

Maybe they’re escaping from the house reef since there are way too many snorkelers there these days…

In the afternoon, we enjoyed a relaxing coral walk at Looc.

As for me, I’ll be busy catching up on all the accumulated gear maintenance work!

Good evening!
This is Hide.
I did two dives today!
Tongo
Talisay
At Tongo, five turtles gathered at a turtle cleaning spot!
There were turtles of all sizes, from large to small, truly a turtle paradise!
At Talisay, we encountered golden trevally hunting sardines! They went back and forth many times, watching for the right timing, and then suddenly swooped into the school – it was incredibly impressive.
Thank you for a wonderful day!

Pescador
Dolphin House
At Pescador, schools of yellowtail snapper and other fish covered the area offshore, and near the shore, schools of colorful fish such as anthias and damselfish formed large groups, creating a very beautiful sight!
At Dolphin House, a school of bigfin reef squid was gracefully moving near the surface! They were swimming slowly, so I was able to observe them for a long time, making for a fantastic and relaxing moment!

Hello everyone♪
Kenta here.
Until yesterday we were in Malapascua,
and today we’re in Moalboal!

Hide’s fun diving team welcomed back repeat guest Mr. I, whose PR flight was delayed last night and only arrived this morning.
As expected, he joined from the afternoon.
In the morning, 4 guests headed to Pescador Island.
The visibility still wasn’t completely clear,
but there were lots of fish, and the anthias in the shallow area were, as always, beautiful!

Kenta’s decompression diving team entered through the cave and saw Furukawa’s angelfish, lyretail angelfish,
sapphire gobies, and red-blotched perchlets.
They were all so cute!
One dive lasted 130 minutes — basically two dives in one tank.
Tomorrow will be a relaxed diving day with 2 guests♪
Thank you very much!

At Talisay, there was a school of sardines! It was like a giant wall appeared before our eyes, covering the entire area – a truly spectacular sight!

Furthermore, we encountered a sea turtle during our safety stop. It stayed still, allowing us to observe it slowly and for a long time, which was very relaxing!
At Tongo Bay, there were lots of jawfish!
Among them, the baby jawfish that popped their heads out were incredibly tiny and adorable!

Tongo
Talisay
At Tongo, I encountered a large turtle and a small turtle!

At Talisay, a large, dark shadow appeared near the surface. The moment I looked up, a school of sardines spread out all around! The scenery created by the branching coral and sardines was a breathtaking sight that far exceeded my imagination. You never know what will appear, and that's what makes the ocean so exciting. Hello♪
This is Kenta.
I had a high fever starting around noon the day before yesterday and was completely down, but I finally recovered this morning
I always thought I wouldn’t catch a cold, but I guess not… maybe I’m getting old
Our super repeat guests, the “Ojii Trio,” are on their final day today.
They’ve been diving for two whole weeks
Let’s do a milestone dive next time
S-san, who started a course in Mactan at the beginning of this year, has completed the remaining requirements and is now officially an Open Water diver
Congratulations!
Enjoy many more dives from here on out♪
And the mango shake at White Beach, which S-san had been saying was a must-visit—
they finally made it on the last day and were very satisfied
Thank you very much♪

Hello
This is Kenta.

Today, Mr. and Mrs. I joined the whale shark and Sumilon Island tour.

The Moalboal group went to
Tongo,
House Reef, and
Dolphin House.

We were hoping to see a thresher shark at the House Reef, but no luck today.
Actually, there were quite a lot of divers and snorkelers in the morning.

It seems like they probably won’t come unless there are fewer people around.
Well, we’ll need to keep observing and see.

Thank you very much to everyone in the M group!

Hello!
Kenta here.
This morning we went to Pescador, and in the afternoon to the house reef.
It’s been a while, but we finally saw a thresher shark at the house reef!
Totally caught us off guard, but it passed by during a feeding run, and after it struck, bits of its prey were shimmering as they drifted down.
It was quite a big individual—around 4 meters!
Not sure if we’ll keep seeing it for a while or if it’s just one of those rare sightings—it really depends. We’ll be going out to look for it again tomorrow.
Thresher sharks in Malapascua are usually calm and relaxed, but here in Moalboal they hunt aggressively, which makes them really cool to watch.
Thank you very much!

At House Reef, we encountered a school of trevally trying to prey on sardines!
Watching them repeatedly swim back and forth, aiming their prey, was so exciting that it took our breath away.
At Talisay, we spotted a school of false blackspot snapper! They suddenly emerged from behind the rocks, and the sight of them spreading out before us was truly overwhelming!

Hello!
This is Hide.
Today, I did one introductory dive and one snorkeling session!
House Reef
The water temperature has risen considerably!
The underwater visibility wasn't great, but because of that, a sea turtle suddenly appeared right in front of us, and we were able to see it up close.
It's a sight that can only happen when visibility is poor, and it was a special moment.
That's why this feeling of excitement is irresistible!

Today, we split into two teams for diving!
The fun diving team did all three dives at Pescador.
The introductory diving team did one dive at the house reef.
At Pescador, we encountered a school of Anthias in the deeper waters! Their red lines stood out beautifully underwater, creating a captivating sight.
We also encountered a cute little green sea turtle in the shallows! Its chemistry with the coral was amazing, making for a truly picturesque scene that we couldn't help but stare at.
Further offshore, we spotted a school of Rainbow Runners! Their swift swimming was impressive and well worth seeing!

Hi everyone♪
Kenta here.

I woke up early this morning to the sound of a sudden downpour—pretty rare (and maybe a bit special?) during the dry season.

It stayed cloudy throughout the day and never really cleared up.

Underwater, it seems like we’re in a seasonal transition, and there were a lot of jellyfish around.
Got stung a bit here and there, but nothing serious that leaves marks, so I managed to push through and enjoy the dives.

Everyone, make sure to wear your wetsuits!

Today I had a relaxing dive with two returning guests.
On the house reef, it was beautiful to see a turtle gracefully swimming through a huge school of sardines♪

For dinner, yesterday was Ukrainian food, and tonight it’s Greek cuisine.

Looking forward to tomorrow as well!

Hello ♪
Kenta here.

We had another beautiful day in the dry season with perfectly clear skies.
Our repeat guest, K-san, joined us again from today, and since the wind was light, we went to:

Airplane
Dolphin House
Visayas Front

I uploaded it on Reels, but the “friendly walk” of the giant frogfish was just too cute!

It was one of those scenes you could watch forever.

The surface water during the third dive felt quite warm, so hopefully the water temperature will gradually start to rise.

Thank you very much!

Hello everyone♪
Kenta here.

It kind of feels like Moalboal has gone back to the cold sea conditions of February.
Normally around this time, the wind settles down and the water temperature starts to rise—but not this year.
Today really felt like the middle of winter.

By the way, some of you might know this, but a former staff member who used to work with us has come to visit since yesterday with friends from their working holiday.

They’ll be heading to Malapascua the day after tomorrow for three days of diving, so today is their last day diving here in Moalboal.

When they were working with us, they were in their early ○○s, but now they’ve already passed ○○…
Time really flies at the speed of light. (Don’t worry, I left the numbers blank!)

Let’s enjoy Malapascua as well♪

Hello!
Kenta here ♪
Today I went diving with two guests for a relaxed day underwater.
Our destination was Pescador Island.

It actually feels like it’s been a while since I guided a dive in Moalboal.
Recently at Pescador Island, the number of Giant Frogfish has been decreasing.

This seems to happen about once a year.
Then before you know it, suddenly there’s a time when they’re everywhere again!
Today there was a nice moderate current, so the anthias were dancing all over the reef.
It was truly a “tropical paradise” kind of day.
Thank you very much!

I did three dives today!
Pescador
Tongo
At Pescador, the current was strong and the fish population was very dense.
Among them, a school of Ruddy Fusiliers stood out! Their movement in unison shone with a sparkling light, creating a mystical sight that almost made me forget I was underwater!
At Tongo, I encountered many large sea turtles. They were so adorable, swimming gracefully, sleeping comfortably, and sitting still!
I look forward to seeing you again tomorrow!

I did three dives today!
Pescador
House Reef
At Pescador, a school of striped anthias was swarming in the deep waters!
The moment I shone my light, the red lines on their bodies became clearly visible, creating a world so vivid it was hard to believe they were underwater! Their unified dance in the darkness was so beautiful, it truly felt like a special experience only possible in the deep waters!
At the house reef, a school of trevally suddenly appeared right in front of me!
In an instant, my vision was enveloped in silver, and the sight of the school of horse mackerel spreading out before my eyes was truly impressive!
The moment they all turned direction in unison was breathtaking, a dynamic scene that took my breath away! I couldn't take my eyes off them as they swam away, changing shape!
See you tomorrow!

I did three dives today!
Dolphin House
House Reef
Bogo Paraiso
At the Dolphin House, I encountered a frogfish for the first time in a while!
Its small, bright yellow body was particularly eye-catching, and I couldn't help but stare at its adorableness.
At the house reef, I saw schools of trevally below, schools of golden trevally in the middle layer, and schools of sardines above.
Surrounded by schools of fish everywhere, it was truly a dreamlike dive. It was truly an amazing experience!
At Bogo Paraiso, I encountered two crab gobies! I was so lucky, I didn't expect to see two at the same time. Their hopping around was so cute I couldn't leave for a while!
I look forward to seeing you again tomorrow!
