Good evening from Moalboal!
While Japan is dealing with a typhoon, we’re enjoying some fantastic conditions here in Moalboal.
The sea is calm, the water is beautifully blue, and visibility is an amazing 20–25 meters!
Today, we headed out with six divers and visited Pescador Island, House Reef, and Talisay.
With the water this clear and blue, every dive site is simply a pleasure to dive.
And when the conditions are this good, you can’t help but keep your eyes on the blue, wondering if something big might suddenly cruise by from the open ocean.
At Pescador Island, we also spotted more and more Lyretail Anthias. Their numbers seem to be increasing little by little.
You can see them at around 13 meters at some of the thresher shark sites in Malapascua, but here in Moalboal, they’re usually found quite a bit deeper.
