Today, the Moalboal team headed out to Pescador Island.
It’s been juvenile fish season lately, so we’re seeing adorable young batfish and longfin batfish almost everywhere we go.
With a nice moderate current, the reef was packed with fish, making for some fantastic diving and incredible underwater scenery.
In the afternoon, we enjoyed a sandy-bottom dive and spotted a juvenile mangrove red snapper as well as a Lagoon Shrimp Goby, which we hadn’t seen in quite a while. I got a little too excited about that one myself!
To wrap up the day, we all went out for Italian food in the evening.
